To provide continuous training and knowledge to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region this time of pandemic, DOST-Caraga will conduct its first SETUP webinar series – virtual training bearing topics related to business operations under the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP).

The speakers coming from DOST-Caraga, partner academe and government agency will present topics including Food Safety protocols, Science behind food packaging, labeling design, product development and advance food processing using DOST-developed technologies. There will be additional topics on DOST’s Technology Transfer protocols, graphic design, digital marketing and gender sensitivity.

Participants can choose any topic or virtual training they are interested in and register through the link provided on each schedule. E-certificates will be given to successful registrants and attendees. Link for the webinar will be provided upon registration.

The Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) is implemented by DOST Regional Offices to help MSMEs improve their business operations through Science, Technology and Innovation interventions, and create positive impact. Considering the declaration of the National State of Calamity due to COVID-19 pandemic, DOST-Caraga have temporarily postponed all technology training and consultancy services until further notice. With this, DOST-Caraga developed this webinar series for MSMEs to continuously provide them training and knowledge.
