The Multi-purpose Fiber Stripper of Mr. Pablo Petalcorin which was presented by the Provincial S&T Director of Agusan del Norte, Meriam Bouquia awed ASEAN key players as it won 1st runner-up on the Grassroots Innovation Competition during the 3rd ASEAN-India Grassroots Innovation Forum 2022 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The forum has served as a venue for government leaders, grassroots innovators, student innovators, academe, business actors, and the wider community to promote and strengthen science, technology, innovations, and entrepreneurship. The event was launched by the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (COSTI) on December 19 to 21, 2022 in partnership with the Government of India’s Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) – India.
