#NSTW: 2017 Regional Invention Contest Rules and Criteria

In celebration with the 2017 National Science and Technology Week, DOST-Caraga brings the Regional Invention Contest for the local inventors.

Deadline of Submission is on August 1, 2017, 5:00P.M. Submit entries and requirements to DOST-Caraga Regional Office located at Caraga State University in Butuan City. The contest and exhibit will be on August 9-10, 2017 at the Big Daddy’s Hotel at J.C. Aquino Ave., Butuan City.

The Outstanding Invention (TUKLAS Award) winner will receive Php50,000, while the first and second runners up will receive Php30,000 and Php20,000, respectively.

The Outstanding Utility Model winner will receive Php25,000, while the first and second runners up will receive Php10,000 and Php5,000, respectively.

The Outstanding Industrial Design winner will receive Php25,000, while the first and second runners up will receive Php10,000 and Php5,000, respectively.

The Outstanding Creative Research (government-funded and private-funded) winners will receive Php20,000 each, while the first and second runners up (government-funded and private-funded) will each receive Php30,000 and Php20,000, respectively.

The Outstanding Student Creative Research for College (SIBOL AWARD) winner will receive Php20,000, while the first and second runners up will receive Php10,000 and Php5,000, respectively.

The Outstanding Student Creative Research for High School (SIBOL Award) winner will receive Php20,000, while the first and second runners up will receive Php10,000 and Php5,000, respectively.
